Looks like a bug in R2 release Justin Gu is correct on the steps to disable the backup. I just followed them on my Windows Server R2 server. I went to the Dashboard and clicked Devices on the top navigation bar, right-clicked on one of the clients in my list of computers, chose customize backup for the computer, and the 2nd option is Disable backup for this computer, then save changes. You don’t perform this on the client computer.
